Robinho: 'I want to leave Madrid'

Chelsea are closing in on Robinho Robinho after reports in Spain quoted the Brazilian as saying that he wanted to leave Real Madrid.
Robinho told Spanish news agency EFE“I want to leave. I've told the president, the directors and the coach. I want to play in the Premier League.
“Chelsea have a great squad, a great team and their offer is good for me and for the team.”
Chelsea have already had a £19.7million bid for Robinho rejected by Real Madrid but chief executive Peter Kenyon has spent the last few days in the Spanish capital, reportedly in an attempt to thrash out a deal before the transfer window closes in 10 days time.
