Milan have dismissed reports claiming they could re-sign Andrei Shevchenko or buy Ronaldinho.
The Ukraine striker has been consistently linked with a return to Italy following a disappointing start to his Chelsea career.
However, chief officer Adriano Galliani has stated there is no chance of Shevchenko making a San Siro return.
“Sheva’s return to Milan is impossible and unimaginable,” said Galliani.
Galliani also revealed that Ronaldinho’s huge buy-out clause would make it impossible for Milan to do a deal .
“Ronaldinho? It’s not possible for a series of reasons. He has an incredible release clause.
“The first thing Milan needs is for our injured players to come back fit.
“We don’t need mass signings, but maybe we need someone on defence.”
Galliani also took time to offer support to the club’s under-fire Brazilian striker Ricardo Oliveira.
“He hasn’t had his last chance,” he added. “We want him to grow and be the big player he was in Spain.
“He’s an important investment which we believe in. He will continue playing with Milan this season and beyond.”
