All to play for at both ends of the table in England, although Manchester United can take a significant step towards another Premier League title, if they beat Chalrton at Old Trafford on Saturday morning.

United stand 5 five points clear of Arsenal with two games remaining, although the Gunners do have a game in hand. The fact remains that wins in theirremaining two matches, will secure Sir Alex Ferguson’s team their 8th Premier League title in the last 11 seasons. Other than Gary Neville who is out for the remainder of the season, Ferguson has a full-strength squad to choose from.

Arsenal, who looked unstoppable until Christmas, and only two months ago, held an eight point lead over United, have stumbled in recent games. A two-goal lead against Bolton last week was squandered, and to make matters worse, Arsene Wenger, watched in horror, as three of his players were carried off with injuries.

Cygan, Llungberg and Lauren were the casualties and with Patrick Vieira unlikely to play again this season and Sol Campbell suspended, Wenger is down to the bare bones.

A fierce battle for the remaining Champions League places is taking place between Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool, although with the latter two teams meeting in the last game of the season, the race will go the wire.

Equally exciting is the battle to avoid relegation. Sunderland and West Brom are down, but any one of five teams can join them. Despite last week’s win at Manchester City, West Ham under acting boss Trevor Brooking, still look the most vulnerable. They face Chelsea at Upton Park on Saturday and defeat there could consign them to the drop.

Two points ahead of the Hammers are Bolton, who are in the midst of a phenomenal run of form. Sam Allardyce’s side travel to Southampton tomorrow and if the likes of Okocha and Djorkjaeff cab sustain their recent form, Bolton must be fancied to take at least a point.

Leeds, who vist Highbury on Saturday are not out of trouble. They hold a three point advantage over third bottom West Ham and may have to wait until the final match of the season at fellow strugglers Aston Villa, to secure the points they need to preserve their Premier League status.
