The agent of Leeds forward Robbie Fowler insists the striker will not be moving to Manchester City, despite reports suggesting his transfer to Maine Road has been resurrected.
Much to the dismay of City boss Kevin Keegan, Fowler’s proposed £7 million move collapsed at the last minute earlier this month after a transfer fee and personal terms had been agreed.
“He (Fowler) is happy where he is,” agent George Scott told BBC Sport Online.
“Leeds would consider an offer, but there hasn’t been a new offer for Robbie.”
Fowler, who has previously agreed to the move, pulled out at the last minute, claiming he did not feel wanted by Manchester City, after the Maine Road club insisted the fee was conditional on injury-plagued making a certain number of appearances.
Scott added: “As far as Robbie’s concerned he’s a Leeds United player and he has still got three-and-a-half years to run on his contract.
“Whether he moves on from Leeds depends on where he wants to go and if anyone wants him. But there isn’t much money in the game at the moment.”
Bordeaux’s Portuguese international striker Pauleta is reported to be the latest target for Kevin Keegan.
