Lazio keeper Angelo Peruzzi has confirmed he will be staying with the club after agreeing a new deal.
Peruzzi had expected to depart in the summer as his contract expired in June, but he is now set to continue his career at Stadio Olimpico.
“We’ve reached a general agreement with the club to continue my adventure at Lazio,” Peruzzi told the club’s official website.
“I’m not that old that I need to leave football. Let’s see how things go for the club, but my desire is to stay here.”
