Arsenal have agreed terms with Dutch striker Robin van Persie and are expected to complete his signing later today.
Feyenoord’s technical director Mark Wotte has confirmed that van Persie has agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions and all that remains is for the clubs to agree finalise the transfer fee.
“Arsenal have signed Robin van Persie on a contract for four years,” said Wotte.
“The two clubs will finalise the last details today.”
The arrival of the 20-year-old is expected to signal the departure from Highbury of Nigerian striker Kanu and French forward Sylvain Wiltord.
