Diego Maradona has left hospital 12 days after going into intensive care with heart and breathing problems.
A statement from the Suizo-Argentina hospital confirmed the Argentinian legend had left, adding that doctors were pleased with his progress.
“Given [his improved health], various treatments have been indicated, and it is up to the patient and his personal doctor…. to decide how they go about this,” read the Suizo-Argentina clinic’s statement.
