Barcelona have placed a £66 million price tag on Ronaldinho in an attempt to deter potential bidders after Chelsea enquired about the Brazilian.
The former Paris Saint Germain playmaker has been in impressive form in recent months and a number of the world’s wealthier clubs have made tentative enquiries about his availability.
“Along with the Chelsea offer we have had other approaches,” stated club president Joan Laporta in The Sun.
“There will be very substantial bids for him and we cannot prevent mega offers from petrol magnates as the player does have a buy-out clause in his contract.”
