Fulham have signed Senegal midfielder Pape Bouba Diop from Lens for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old is perhaps best known for scoring the winner in Senegal’s shock victory over holders France in the 2002 World Cup.
Fulham manager Chris Coleman told the club website: “I have already said how important these last few weeks have been to the club in terms of signings.
“I’m more than delighted to have been able to secure the services of some quality players.”
