Deportivo La Coruna coach Joaquin Caparros has revealed his despair at the loss of Juan Carlos Valeron for the rest of the season.
Valeron will miss the rest of the season after suffering a ligament injury late on in Depor’s 2-2 draw with Real Mallorca on Sunday.
Valeron will now undergo surgery and will be out of action for six months – thus ending his slim hopes of representing Spain at this summer’s cup finals.
“That is the worst news for us but we will try to stay positive,” said Caparros.
