Here’s your daily round-up of the latest transfer gossip from World Soccer.
POGBA TO BE USED IN SWAP DEAL FOR DYBALA?
It was only on Monday that we suggested that Manchester United could use Paul Pogba as a way to secure a deal to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus, and it’s now emerged that The Red Devils may do just that. According to The Athletic, The Red Devils could offload Pogba to his former club and sign Dybala in a swap deal.
It seems inevitable that Pogba is on his way out of Old Trafford, but he almost saved their Champions League campaign when he came on against Red Bull Leipzig last night. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were 3-0 down when Pogba was brought on, and The Red Devils looked a different side with him on the pitch and could’ve easily ended up getting the point they needed to progress to the knockout stages.
WEST HAM KEEN ON ERIKSEN
One player who isn’t going to be short of options in January is Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen. He hasn’t made the impact he would’ve hoped for in Serie A, and he’s now being linked with a move back to the Premier League having only left Tottenham Hotspur earlier this year.
Even though he hasn’t impressed in Italy, there are still a host of clubs interested in his signature. According to Eurosport, the latest Premier League side to be looking into the possibility of signing the 28-year-old is West Ham United.
RUDIGER SET FOR STAMFORD BRIDGE EXIT
We mentioned in one of our recent round-ups that Chelsea are set for a defensive clear-out in January, and there continues to be a host of clubs linked with Antonio Rudiger. According to ESPN, via Sport, Barcelona are interested in the centre-back, whilst Calciomercato are reporting that Juventus and AC Milan could also be in the running to land the 27-year-old.
