MANCHESTER CITY COULD BOOST SUMMER BUDGET BY SELLING TRIO
The Citizens are not messing around. The Premier League and Carabao Cup may have been won, but after missing out on the Champions League, Pep Guardiola is in no mood to rest on his laurels. Goal report that Guardiola will seek to offload fringe players in a bid to raise funds for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, although we can’t help thinking they might have the funds anyway.
Goal go further, listing the players who could be made available for permanent transfers away from the club. It includes Raheem Sterling, Benjamin Mendy and Aymeric Laporte. Can’t really find fault with any of those names; all have struggled for regular first-team opportunities this season.

POCH RETURN WON’T STOP HARRY
Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a remarkable return to Tottenham Hotspur. However, it wouldn’t be enough to persuade Harry Kane to stay at Spurs. That’s according to the Times, who report that the 27-year-old striker is determined to move on this summer. He is understood to have already informed the chairman, Daniel Levy, of his intention to leave.
So what now? Manchester City appear to be the frontrunners in the race for his signature, but it’s not going to be an easy transfer to complete. According to the Daily Mail, The Citizens could offer at least one player as part of a deal for Kane. Gabriel Jesus and Nathan Ake are two players of interest for Spurs. They might help get the deal over the line if they are included in negotiations.

TOMORI’S FUTURE SECURED
He missed out on a trip to Euro 2020, but it’s not all bad news for Fikayo Tomori. AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign the 23-year-old centre-back, according to Sport Witness. Tomori impressed on loan in Serie A after being bombed out by Frank Lampard in January. He made 22 appearances, as he helped the Rossoneri qualify for the 2021-22 Champions League.
