Manchester United’s David Bellion is to join Nice on loan for the rest of the season.
“The club was interested in him as well as other players but in the end we have chosen him,” said a Nice spokesman.
The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Sunderland in July 2003 but was loaned to West Ham in August after failing to make an impact at Old Trafford.
The winger began his career at Cannes before moving to Sunderland in 2001.
Following their relegation from the Premiership, he moved to Old Trafford in 2003.
