Blackburn have declared their interest in Celta Vigo left back Juanfran.
Rovers boss Graeme Souness is keen to strengthen his defence and the Spaniardÿ has emerged as the number one target after the club’s failure to land Philippe Leonard from Monaco and Alapy from Aston Villa.
“We are pursuing a number ofÿleft backs and Juan Fran Garcia is one of those names,” confirmed chief executive John Williams.
Juanfran, 27,ÿwas a member ofÿhis country’sÿWorld Cup squad in the South Korea/Japan.
