Boca Juniors president Mauricio Macri has rejected reports that coach Carlos Bianchi is set to leave the club to join Real Madrid.
Speculation is rife in Spain that the Argentinian is being lined up as asuccessor to Carlos Quieroz, who is expected to leave the club at the end of ths season.
However, Macri has dismissed the claims , stating that Bianchi is happy where he is.
“Carlos is very happy working for Boca,” claimed the club’s chairman.
“It’s not true that he has a clause in his contract that could let him leave if he receives an offer from a club in Europe.
“Bianchi is a very serious person that respects his contracts and his actual deal with us expires in December 2005.
“He even knows that there is still someone in charge at Real Madrid and he is a serious person that would never negotiate with a club that still has a coach working for them.”
