Controversial Lazio striker Paolo Di Canio has admitted he would consider returning to England at the end of this season.
His contract expires in the summer and the 37-year-old has not ruled out a return to England where he played for Sheffield Wednesday, West Ham and Charlton.
“Going back to England isn’t such a remote possibility,” Di Canio told Italian television channel Rete Sole.
“Everyone knows the idea was to finish my career at Lazio but, unfortunately, it doesn’t just depend on me. It’s also up to the club.”
Di Canio received a €10,000 fine and a one-match ban for making fascist-style salutes at two games last December.
