UEFA Cup holders Feyenoord have completed the signing of South Korea’s World Cup midfielder Song Chong-Gug.
Initial terms had been agreed with his K-League club, Busan I.Cons, last week but completion of the deal was held up by negotiations with the player and his representatives.
He has signed a five-year contract and will cost the Rotterdam club €4million.
Song 23, will makehis farewell appearance for Busan this weekend before moving to Holland.
He is the third member of former coach Guus Hiddink’s sensational Korean squad to agree a move to Europe – after Cha Du-Ri with Bayer Leverkusen and Lee Eul-Yong with Trabzonspor of Turkey.
