Danish international Thomas Helveg is in talks with Norwich City, the promoted English club said on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old defender is available on a free transfer after his contract with Italian club Internazionale ended at the end of last season.
“I can confirm that we are in talks with Thomas Helveg,” Norwich manager Nigel Worthington said on his club’s official website.
Helveg played every game for Denmark at Euro 2004 as they reached the quarter-finals of the competition.
