Lyon coach Gerard Houllier said he is not concerned by his team’s recent form after watching the club take just five pointd from their last four home games.
Lyon are still sitting at the top of the Ligue 1 table, nine points ahead of second-placed Bordeaux with 13 matches to go.
“Things are going to go back to normal very soon,” Houiller told L’Equipe.
“The weather was pretty bad in January and several training sessions were disrupted.
“This is the time in the season when you are a little tired physically. But if we win our (postponed) match at Monaco we will have scored as many points as Bordeaux since the winter break,” he added.
Lyon face PSV in the knockout round of the Champions League and Houllier is looking to erase the memory of last season when the Dutch side knocked them out at the quarter-final stage.
“There was something unfair in our elimination,” Houllier said. “But I don’t want the guys to prepare for this game telling themselves they will be out for a revenge.
“I want them to play and prove that they are now mentally stronger than they were last season. We have had to deal with some problems recently but I’m confident.”
