Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed his interest in Manchester Unitedduo Ryan Giggs and David Beckham.
‘Maybe the discussion is a little premature, maybe it is too soon also for us and so for both the clubs,’ Moratti told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday when asked about Giggs.
‘But it is always interesting to know if you can open talks, because it can even happen that you can then close a deal.’
Asked whether he would also be interested in bringing England captain Beckham to the San Siro, Moratti said: ‘Take both of them? Certainly, it would be fantastic, but who knows what Manchester would think’.
Moratti is understood to have a longstanding interest in Giggs and peculation is rie that the club are prepared table a £20 million offerfor the Welsh winger in the summer.
Beckham’s future at Old Trafford has been a subject of discussion since United boss Alex Ferguson kicked a boot into the midfielder’s face.
