Paraguay coach Cesare Maldini has announced his resignation following his side’s 1-0 second round defeat to Germany.
“It was a very positive experience” Maldini said. “But now I’m goingback at Milan.
‘ I worked very well with this team, all of the players are real professionals. I’m satisfied with the result we have reached”.
Maldini took over Paraguay earlier year, following the surprising dismissal of Sergio Makarian’s, the coach responsible for taking Paraguay to the finals.
